Intro to trail running: a free clinic
Trail running gives you that sense of adventure and freedom that you haven’t felt since childhood. When you start exploring new trails, you will experience epic views, steep climbs, thrilling downhills, scenic forests, creek crossings, fields of wildflowers, even rock stairs and ladders.

XTERRA Trail Run have partnered with life's 2 Short Fitness to bring you this free course, we will give you the knowledge, fitness and confidence so that you can join your friends on their next trail running adventure.

Join experts and pro runners from Runners Roost, XTERRA team and coaches from Life's 2 Short Fitness where we will discuss everything from the best gear for trail running, tips for conquering technical terrain, exercises you should be doing to prevent common injuries on the trail, how to avoid encounters with wildlife (like what to do if you see a rattlesnake!), and the best trails across the front range for beginners to explore.
We have quite the line-up of expert panelists for this event that will be sharing their best trail running tips and experiences! Runners Roost Mountain/Ultra running team pros and honorary ambassadors from the Xterra Colorado Series Joseph Gray the 2016 USATF Mountain Runner of the Year and Peter Maksimow, a member of the silver medal-winning US team at the 2015 World Long Distance Mountain Running Championships will be present.
We will have prizes and attendees will receive an additional 20% discount off everything at the Runner Roost store so you can gear up for your new adventurous hobby + giveaways and discounts from our partners.
We will start the night with a social fun run with the Runners Roost Run club starting at 6pm and stick around snacks, beverages and our informative clinic.
